Making JEPG from DVD, VCD

Hi everyone

How could I make jpeg pictures from either DVD or VCD? There are a lot of discussion on how to make DVD, VCD from JPEG pictures, but not the opposite way. I wonder if this is possible.

Quite possible. There are two ways that come to mind:

Virtual Dub mod: Load the VOBs from the DVD into Virtial Dub, when you get to the scene you want, select Video-->copy to clipboard and the scene will be there load into MS Paint, where you can save it as JPEG.

PowerDVD: Play the DVD in WinDVD, when you get to the scene you want, press the camera buttom, and the scene is transferred to your clipboard.
