Karaoke Machines???

Hey there everyone. I just found out my sister in law wants a karaoke machine for christmas and I think I might buy her one. However, I know nothing about Karaoke machines. Does anyone know any good brands or what not?

I dont think I would need one that has the built in tv screen because you can just hook them up to the TV. I saw a Memorex one...don't know much about it.

I do know they play CD+G discs. You can buy these things anywhere........do these just mean that they are the music plus the graphics of the bouncing ball thingy over the lyrics?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I think dual mics would be better then a single. Thanks for the help.

a friend of mine has the vocopro 500.

its pretty nice, great sound, play cd-r (cd+g), pal/ntsc switchable, dual mics, the whole shebang.

you'll recognize the box, it has a cartoon lion on with a microphone.
