  1. I captured a 7 gig microsoft dv file, now I want to cut it into 2 pieces and archive them to DVD disc. I am so limited on HDD space I can't even out put a 3.5 gig export. So I look for a utility to cut or splice or segment the source microsoft dv file - but not re-export as a 2 new files, because I don't have room.

    I tried AVI Splitter - creates new file - limited to < 2 gigs

    Nandub (Virtual Dub) - can't figure out how to do it...

  2. I don't think you can split a DV file. The only option is to smartrender out as two seperate files.
