  1. Hi

I have a IBM computer and it has a NVIDIA GForce4 Ti 4600 card.
I am trying to watch divx movies on the TV with it, but the S-Video thingy wont fit into the graphic card (the circle shaped input).

I've read that guide on dvdrhelp.com and i have everything needed, except that cable which you get when you buy the graphic card.
(I am refering to that picture on the bottom of the PLAY guides.)

    Thanks for any replys!!

I'd make sure that the output off your graphics card is definitely S-Video and not RCA. Also, you may have to setup your TV to read the input through AV1 or some channel like that.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. I've checked and it cant be a RCA output, because this one has many small holes , like a S-video input should fit.

Yeah everything else is set, its only this problem between graphic card and the converter (using scart).

  4. Are you sure its an S-Video plug? S-video plugs have 4 round holes. The MINIDIN-8 has 8 round holes. A S-video cable will not fit into a MINIDIN-8 plug, but they look similar. You will need a converter for it in that case (usually comes with the card).

Yes, buy the correct cable. Although you really should have got one with the card.

  7. i think what you are describing is a vivo (video in video out connector). You can also use composite video (the yellow phono type) for output but remember that you will need to connect sound seperately.
