  1. I hope I found the right forum from this Q

Well, Im looking for a tool to make my own mp3 dvd`s if its even possble tho.

Im sure it would be funn to have hundreds of mp3s on a dvd with meny ect. but I cant find eny app where you can do this on a easy way.

I guess Im looking for a Mp3 -> Vob app of some kind where I can splitt each Mp3 file in to a chapter so I can browse the DVD and play what music I want.

    Thx

  2. Most dvd players wont play dvd-mp3 directly. You need to create a dvd-video compatible disc to enable it to be played in ordinary dvd-players.

See this guide: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/193049.php and my comment at the end on how to do this.

DVD-video audio needs to be 48000kHz PCM (.wav), AC3 or MP2.

    Process is basically:

Convert mp3 to mp2 48000kHz using dbPowerAmp or rip directly from cd to PCM or mp2. File browser addon is useful for bulk encoding. MP2 codec needs to be installed also. (see dbPowerAmp site)

Create low bitrate blank or still video clips that match the length of the audio using TMPGEnc. Quite easy to set up batch encoding of multiple files.

Compile the audio/video into dvd tracks and chapters and create menus using TMPGEnc DVD Author. Burn results.

All the above mentioned software is available freely or on free trial.

  3. WinOnCD will author a quasi-DVD-AUDIO disk, another option is Ulead DVD MovieFactory or use TMPGEnc to encode and demux then use IFOEDIT to author.
