I have just saved video/audio avi file with Virtualdub and then encoded it with tmpgenc to MPEG2 DVD & have lost the audio.

I have also tried another method by extracting the audio and converting it to wav encoded the avi and wav with tmpgenc and then I get audio but it is way out. How can I resolve either of these problems. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

  2. Have you tried frameserving the file from VirtualDub to TMPGEnc using the wav audio in VirtualDub?

It often solves the problem you're having.

There's a guide on how to do this here.

    cheers,
