My DVD Player accepts only Princo CD-Rs, but I can't find a place where I could buy them!
If anybody knows a place in MUNICH or in the Internet, where I can buy them, please help!!!!

I would not touch those things. I bought a 50 pack last year and after 6 months they had started to deteriate to such an extent that most PC CDR and some audio CD plaers could not read them..

You can buy Printco cd-r's from Azzo computers: http://www.azzo.com/test2/CDROM.html Its listed under the cd writers at the bottom. 10080 min cd-r's for $55. A better deal I found was at Office Max. They sell a 200 count box of 80min cd-r's under the name of Prime Perferials for $45. I bought these last week and upon inspecting them closely, they are actully made by Printco! It is stamped on the very inside ring of the cd-r. I have had no problem with these and they play fine on my sony DVD player.

Ha... Lemme guess, Samsung? I have the same problem...
Got mine at Accubyte:

Prime Perpherials = Princo?
Exact same media, meaning same manufacturer, factory, dye, etc. I doubt it.

I have some Prime Perpherials currently in my possession. And mines and they seem NOT to be made by Princo. I see no 'Princo' stamp on the inner ring of the CDRs at all.
Try running CDRIdentifier on both medias. Check their results for Princo and Prime Perpherials. Unfortunately my CD burner doesn't support CDRIdentifier, nor do I have Princo CDRs in my possession. Do the tests for us... =) -
Ok...I dont have any true Princo labled cd-r's right now but I did run cdr identifier on the Prime Perferials cd-r for you and this is what it reported:
ATIP: 97m 27s 28f
Disc Manufacturer: Princo Co.
Reflective layer: Dye (Short strategy; e.g. Phthalocyanine)
Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)
So they are made by Princo as already figured out by the name "princo" being stamped on the cdr. I know some cdr manufactures buy media made by someone else and just put their name on it. Read this article if you dont believe me: http://www.cdrinfo.com/burnerscorner/mediaq.shtml
At any rate, $50 for 200 princo cd-r's is an awsome deal.

Jeomite: I just bought a 50 pack of Prime Peripherals and they say "Princo" on the inside ring. I don't know if Prime uses other brands now, or if they switched FROM another brand, but all the Prime Peripheral discs I've picked up in the last two months have been Princos.
Just eliminated the problem for myself though... Replaced the Samsung with a Pioneer DV343.
