    I have Pinnacle Studio 8 SE, which came with my DVD burner. Does anyone know what its limitations are compared to the full Studio 8 version?

    Any help would be appreciated. I don't know whether to upgrade to the full version or not.

    Also, any way to get background music of your choice using Studio 8, instead of what the program has? This may be one of the beforementioned limitations. Can you do that in S 8?

    S8 has a separate timeline for music, so you can put wav (or mp2) there.
    the limitations i know of is no variable speed (slow motion, fast motion) and no nested menus.
    i upgraded to the full version cos both options are pretty cool.
    but it's not necissairy to be able to create a nice dvd.
