Help with DVDshrink3.0 beta5

HI,

I have been using the 1.03 version for a while and decided to upgrade to 3.0 beta 5.

Now when i put in the disc to read it gives me:

"DVDshrink has encountered an error and can not continue.

The error is:
Failed to read from file

The reason is: Copy protection error-the read failed because the sector is encrypted."

Now- i gave the same disc to my friend and he was able to work with the disc. i just don't know why I can get in with 3.0??

Try reading it with dvddecrypter first

Welcome to the forums, str8talk22.

Another workaround is to read the DVD with your software player (WinDVD, PowerDVD,...).
Pause it, then start the DVD Shrink process.
