increasing frame rate

would increasing the frame rate in TMPGNC from 25 fps to a higher value get a better quality conversion using a PAL VHS CAPTURE form my ADVC 100???? i apologise now if its a dumb question

Nope,best to stick with 25fps to stay in specs of your playing systems plus you would run into all sorts of problems including sync,jerky picture etc,,.
