    hi,

    my dvd recorder plays the VOb file correctly, and Super DVD software player does, but when I look at the VOB in TMPGEnc in the source range window or in the created MPEG file it looks corrupted.
    The frame is tiled vertically and shows some old frame on the right an the ongoing on the left.
    This starts allways some minutes after the beginning.
    Look here, the left side is a frame from the actual time position in the VOB, the right is at least 10 min back and playing allways the same half second like an old scratched long player, same happens in DVD2AVI.
    TMPGEnc setting are like DVD PAL standard. The Vob file was recorded by my Panasonic Video DVD/HD recorder.
    anyone can help please ?

    See if the file works okay in Virtual Dub mod. If it does, frameserve it to TMPGEnc, and go from there.
