If you havent seen it already, or would like to see it again, Cartoon Network is going to air "When you wish upon a wienstien", the episode fox wouldnt show, this Sunday @ 11:00 PM eastern time(I think). I know I'll be watching.

PS - if you want to double check the time, see adult swim tonight or tomorrow and sometime during family guy, they'll air the commercial.

'thanks for the update big ben'-Brian
Got the ep on season 2 dvd, not one of the best family guy episodes though, it may be contraversial but a times quite un-entertaining.

  4. maybe airing "when you wish upon a wienstien" on fox would be contreversial, but airing it on a cable tv channel is not.. its no where near as "offensive" as a half-jew southpark episode.

now, y'know what would be good? an unedited high quality version of "road to rhode island"

    This might be useless scuttlebutt.....

I heard tell that Fox has plans to reinstate the most marvelous show known to man. Apparently, the DVDs for the Family Guy have sold like crazy, and Fox execs have realized that they can make more money if they put it back on the air. This is all mostly rumor so far, but supposedly there will be brand spanking new episodes of FG coming to FOX, I'd wager that if this is true, we'll see them Fall of '04.

    Has anyone else heard anything?

@ solar, you're not oblivious for not knowing...truth is, I have absolutely no idea...I've heard millions of reasons, but the most common one I've heard is that the fox kept moving the time slot around so the fans "lost interest". I find that hard to believe.

BTW, have you been gone recently? If so, welcome back.

Not really gone, but online a lot less. I recently got a new job which takes up a very large chunk of my time. Then add in a huge 1 1/2 hour commute.

But, its a good thing. After all, I need money for the blank DVDs!!!!

I both sets of family guy on dvd and it is easily one of the funniest shows ever but the episode you guys are talking about was one of the least funny episodes I have seen. The reason they wouldn't show it is because it had to much to do with religion. True it had some tasteless moments but I guess everyone will just have to get a sence of humor.

I know alot of words are spelled wrong. Im just lazy.

I agree...I didnt think that "When you..." was particularly funny. Although I loved the part "Optimus(sp?) prime is jewish?"

According to tvtome.com, he was booked for one of those planes but missed his flight because of a mix-up by the travel agent.
