im trying to burn a "mini-dvd" (dvd on cd-r). it plays fine on my dvd player but i cant use the playback control. it wont let foreword or anything. i tried burning it as an iso, iso/udf, minidisc and image but still no luck. when i pop it in the player it says that its an mp3 cd and shows the folders i can choose (video_ts and audio_ts). how can i fix this?

There is nothing to fix. Your DVD player doesn't support miniDVD and this is hardly surprising since very very few players support this.

Your player obviously does support playing video files off a "CD-ROM" which is what it is doing.
