  1. I know this isn't the place to ask but I think I will more success of replys that the other section. I bought a DVD Player a few years ago, a brand that exists only in Australia from a store 'Discount Electrical Centre, and was wondering if anyone could help me in making it macrovision free with any hack using the remote or firmware that can remove it without using a video stablizer. The model is DEC S2100. Thanks

Macrovison is encoded on the DVD you are playing, not in the player itself.

Have a look at the DVD Hacks section on the left. Not too many DVD players have the option to remove the macrovision so you may be out of luck.
