  1. Hi everyone! I'm new at this so heres what I'm trying to do,each dvd has about 45 seperate music videos I need to put on my HD and name them (like I do my mp3)keep high qualty like VOB or MPEG2 and play them with a software player like PowerDVD or Intervideo, Oh and try to keep simple I'm new at this.

    try ripping with dvddecrypter and if there's 1 vob file per video then jus leave it like that, if there's less than 45 vob files then...i guess connect them with vobmerge and then sepperate each individual music video with dvdshrink
    Of course i am also a newbie and may be way off, hopefully more people will resond.

  4. I have dvddecrypter but when I record I only get about 8 to 12 VOB files, and the videos are only 5 to 8 min long

    play the vob files and make sure all the music videos are in them, then load them into dvdshrink, re-author, and each of the music video's are probably different chapters so split up the files

    If you are trying to keep each video seperate you might rip with smart ripper by chapters and that might keep them seperate.

    An alternative is to output to MPEG2 SVCD compliant files - I have done this using EazyVCD. If you are lucky, each video will show up as a separate title making it a breeze to separate them. It is reasonably time consuming though.
