Just bought this baby, first thing i want to do i back it up. Looking at the menu structure it looks fairly complex. It has the theatatrical cut and directors cut on 1 disc. However the vob sets are the same. As i dont want to shrink it, what would be thebest tool to use. I tried dvdfab, but then you cant choose which version to coninue with on the second disc.![]()
Any help appreciated.

Both versions cannot be on one disk,it must be like the Stargate disk where the extra parts for the extended edition's are embedded in the ifo and vob files. Actually it's the regular version with just the additional parts of the extended version and the ifo file plays the correct parts based on your menu selection. They don't exist as separate PGC's which I would guess is why DVDfab can't separate them.
You may have to rip each version in movie mode and then burn each version to two DVD's.
