  1. I have a socket 370 motherboard. That means I can jam any socket 370 CPU in it right? What is this "tualatin" business?

  2. Tualatin is a PIII CPU, the upgrade from the coppermine.

The change in process technology from 0.18 to 0.13 microns allows power consumption to be reduced considerably and higher clocking rates. It also has 512KB of L2 cach compared to the coppermines 256KB.

Just because you have a socket 370 motherboard does not mean it will accept a tualatin CPU. Check with your motherboard manufacturer for compatability.
