Just curious, has anyone used the program Gumby?
http://gumby.misplacedmac.com
I'm specifically looking at its MPEG fixer component,
as I usually have some posts from usenet, that
come across as very small ( 15B) mpg files,
that aren't always (Toast, VCD Builder) compliant,
and according to the read-me/manual, it is supposed
to fix and can rejoin MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 segments.
thoughts?
( yes, I know you can do this in ffmpeg)

Yes, its reputation for usenet pornography assembling is unmatched! j/k
Sorry, it was an easy shot . . . Oh, so now I'm the ******* . . .I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté." -
Great program. The only app to properly handle .rar files

well, I did try, Wiseweasel, to join/fix a set of mpg files
I downloaded from usenet, and it caused the program to crash
while trying to demux. Tried then in ffmpeg, and
at leaset it had the deceny to tell me that something was wrong
with the video header before stopping!
Tgpo, does is handle post processing on Par2's associated
with an .rar set? Gerard's MacPar Delexue seems stalled
at this time in that regard, as it's always been my weapon
of choice, until 2.51 came out a couple weeks back...
