Sorry if this has been covered, i couldn't find any similar topics.
Say I have a pal video tape, pop it into my north american vcr, send the video to my realtime capture card on my pc. Would I then be able to convert the captured video to ntsc or would the capture be the same as if I tried to play the pal on my tv??
Thanks for your time!!![]()

You cant play pal tapes in a ntsc vcr to begin with. You will get scrambled video and sound running too fast in sp mode.

Thanks, thats kinda what I thought, but considered I wasn't using a ntsc tv as my output source so thought it may be do-able. Didn't know there was a difference in a pal and ntsc vcr, now I do, thanks!!
