NeroVision nightmares and yet dreams

Hi there,

im having some terreble probs with nerovision. The problem i have is when i take a picture for the background image of the menu (vcd) it's really nice in windows but when i play it in my dvd player or in windows itself it looks like shit, nero does something with the picture i guess.

Now i tried diff progs like Sonic and pinnacle but they just don't allow the user to change whatever they want in their menu, while nerovision does. I want to use it just because it is so customizable, but why does it give such a shitty picture in a vcdmenu while other progs display the background picture nicely?
Im sure someone must have had this prob, but i can't find anything about this in the forums.

the picture i use for background is a 32bit jpeg, but even when i convert it to bmp or whatever it's still the shitty result

Hi inferno.

This is a new one on me ive used nero vision exress (dvd) and the background pic is fine i'm gonna look into this a bit more closly and i'll get back to you if i get a result for you.

Just one question is when you play back your vcd do you get audio sync problems about half way through the vcd ??.....coz like myself loads do with nerovision i'd take a look at your vcd when playing in a stand alone player coz i bet it does !.

well i have indeed audio that is out of sync, when playing a mpeg music clip. Maybe it is because it is NTSC and burned for PAL, didn't test it otherwise.

for the pic quality with you , maybe it is because you use it it as a DVD and not a VCD?
Im using the prog for a vcd menu.
