My NEC DVD RW ND 1300A Don't Recognize(READ) DVD-R or DVD+R?

Hello!

It recognize Original DVDs, and I can play them, but don't recognize, and don't Read DVD-R, DVD+R.

I can run CDs(not DVDs) with no problem. Only problem shows up when I want to play(run) some DVD-R or DVD+R(and RWs too).

Anyone know what might that be???

Do you have a dvd-rom, if so have you tried seeing if the files on the dvdr can be read there?

My Friend have, and it couldn't be played ;(

I Burned him rw+ on NEC, and he have LG player, and it doesn't work ;(

the same here...he burned me some DVDs on LG...

DVDs Burned on NEC RW could be Watched on NEC DVDs(or the same RW), and
DVDs Burned on LG RW could be Watched on LG DVDs(or the same RW).

What exactly is being burned onto the dvdr. Is it a video, if so can it be played on either you or your friends dvd player.

It was Burned Video, and on other Data Files!!!

DVD Burned by LG RW can be played on LG RW or LG Players, and CAN'T be played on NEC RW!!!
DVD Burned by NEC RW can be played on NEC RW, and CAN'T be played on LG RW or LG Players!!!
