    I am having trouble connecting my Shinsonic DVD player to my new Digital receiver. When using the Digital audio output/input I get no sound through my stereo.

    Is there something I need to change on the set-up of the DVD player?
    Please inform me of anything I should check.

    The whole point of buying this stereo was for surround sound. BTW-This is the first thing I've ever tried to connect to a DTS system. Thanks for the help

    RTM? set output to digital/lpcm ON in set up preferences.

    I thought I did RTM but after looking at every option I found which setting I need...Thanks for making me look at everything again....

    I suspect most peoples problems are caused by lack of patience or inadequate reading ... it is refreshing when people admit it!
