I've been using Verbatim 4x dvd+r's for a long time, all i've bought have been made by MCC... plays great everywhere.
Now last time i got a 10-pack, they were made by Taiyo Yuden, and they're all causing problems on my standalone player (pixelation at the end).
First i thought my burner was going out the door, but i got a few MCC's from a friend, and they all worked fine.
Anyone know how to tell these discs apart? the packages are the same, it even says Mitsubitshi Chemical Company on the back of the discs, still the media code says YUDEN000T01.
Any help apreciated...

You need DVD Identifier. Maybe I misread, you want to know how to identify them before you buy?
