I've just started trying to use the batch function of tmpgenc, given that now I'm trying to convert audio files over to vcd. When I attempt to add a file, it says illegal stream format. It does this with mp3, waves that I used dbpoweramp to convert to cd quality pcm wave, and even mpegs that I already converted manually. Given I'm not real familiar with the batch function, I was hoping someone would be able to assist and enlighten me.
TIA,
Tigerwolf

okay I'm sorry, I think I found my answer. I did a search earlier, but used the wrong search, I missed the search for the forum itself. So I think I've found my answers.
I also feel rather stupid, I wasn't creating a project file, I was trying to just add the mp3/wave files directly to the batch encode. I feel really stupid now.
just for those that aren't familiar with the batch encode feature here is what Vejita-sama, posted about it:
1) Set up each file you want to encode as normal (bitrate, template, etc.)
2) Choose File | Save Project.
3) Repeat for all files you want to encode
4) Choose File | Batch encode, add all projects and hit run.
Each project is seperate, you can mix and match, the settings for each project are saved for each file.
Sorry For The Inconvenience.
Hey I learned two things, how to batch encode and where the search for the forum is. LOL.
