I have 2 Harddrives installed on my puter, and I was wondering if I could take a extra internal harddrive and make it external somehow? I know this probably is a stupid ? and if it is...please dont respond with negative comments....unless they are really funny!
If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

  2. Yes, it is very possible.

You can buy an external USB/FireWire enlosure (about £40) and take one drive out and put it in there (you will usually have to set the jumpers on the drive as master).

Now you have an external drive for a cheaper price than buying a pre assembled one.

Pixel is correct, it depends on what type of Bus you want to use but its very possible. If you already have USB 2.0 I suggest using that for a nice easy transition, if you don't have anything but USB 1.1 then I suggest a firewire card and enclosure. Ignore the first few items on this link and scroll down for enclosures of all types. You of course need one designed for 3.5 inch drives.

17 inch LCD... heres what I suggest

In the end though I only truely want an LCD because I think a widescreen would be sweet. Given a widescreen price I see myself going dual CRT
    before LCD.
