dvd authoring please help

Hi to all!
i have a problem(question)!
these are my first steps in authoring and i couls use some help

let just say that we have a movie with some videos clips some of them are regular and some live.is it possible to create 2 tracks one playing the promos the other playing lives and with play all to play them in the original order.
i've been trying with tmpeg dvd author but no luck what i really want to do is to create a track which will link to others tracks and will play their chapter in the order that i specify.
if this is not possible with tmpeg what other dvd author program would you suggest?

ok
as i told you i use tmpeg dvd author
i want to author a dvd that will do these actions
1)upon pressing play all to play all the movie
2)upon selecting track 1 play selected chapters of movie
3) upon selecting track 2 play other(the rest) chapters of the movie

i want to be able to select what chapter i want to be played without having the same chapter or mpeg file 2 times in my creation

If tmpeg cannot make this possible what other would you recommend?
