last chapter won't play

i've tried to copy 'the office series 2' (u.k comedy), it consists of 6 episodes and some extras. i've written just the 6 episodes and kept the menus, it all plays fine apart from the last chapter which on my ps2 gives 'can't read disc' and on my pc freezes until you click the timeline later on in that chapter. so i tried to write just the 6 episodes without menus, and all it does is play the first episode!!?! i read in a couple of posts it may be to do with writing to the edge of the dvd, ive written afew dvd's before and not had this problem, what is wrong?? i want them all to play, but can't afford many more wasted dvd-r's

Most likely the media you are burning with and when you make new chapters make sure you specify to play all tracks.
