  1. Do u use SVCD PAL, OR NTSC format for a DIVXMPG4V3. I know PAL is for 25 frames, NTSC is for 29 frames. So what's this 23.976??

  2. 25fps = PAL
    23.976fps = NTSC Film
    29.97fps = NTSC (standard/TV)

    The short verison is all PAL sources are 25fps. But NTSC TV is 29.97fps and films are shot at 23.976fps. In order to display/play that 23.976fps source on your 29.97fps TV you have to convert the film to 29.97fps. This is done by a process known as telecine (aka 3:2 pulldown).

    The film template will add the pulldown flag.
