Hello all

I am thinking of purchasing a DVD recorder, Philips and Panasonic say they might have a DVD recorder out next year that will be able to play my Photo Cd's on it.

I have a CD-Rewriter and use MemoriesOnTv to create photos that play on DVD. They will play on a normal DVD player, one of course that plays VCD's etc, but not on any DVD recorder.

This is a message i received from MemoriesOnTv
I assume by DVD TV recorder, you mean one of those home DVD players
that can also record programs on a DVD, am I correct? In order for a
DVD player/recorder to play the VCD that is created by MemoriesOnTV, it
will have to support VCD 2.0 standard, and be able to read a CD-R or a
CD-RW. I'm not sure if there is a DVD recorder out there that can
record programs on a VCD though.
With regards to the DVDRHelp website, it does list the DVD players for
TV, all you need to do is to enter the correct make and model.

So i need a DVD recorder that will play back VCD 2, not found one yet.
Does anyone know of one?
Also, is there a way to produce VCD Photo CD's that will play ok on a DVD recorder? They play great on my ordinary DVD player, like my Video CD's do.

Any ideas for a novice, easy step by step ones??

Thanks in advance, Gep
