I read some people with P-III 800 have 0.80 or 0.90 encoding speed compared to realtime (=25fps) using dvd2svcd in 3-pass vbr.
I have a Athlon 1 gHz (384mb ram) and my encoding speed is only around 0.6 compared to realtime in 3pass vbr.
Is there somebody who also uses dvd2svcd with an Athlon?
Whats your speed?

Tbird 1.2Ghz, I normally get 0.915 (depends on the filters I'm running). If I choose to run IVTC that drops to 0.565, I've also seen as high as 1.119.
