I did some real investigation of my movies. Sometimes, when camera scans from left to right (or right to left I imagine), I'd get jerky movement. I opened an affected movie in virtualdub and saved it off as an avi. I clicked frame by frame and there was a distinct pattern of 3 sharp frames followed by two that were blurry. I am thinking that is telecine? I've read that telecine can be pretty difficult to undo. I am prepared to just deal with it and actually relieved the jerky movements probably aren't a problem with my actual capture set up. Any advice?

Seems like you could set the camera to capture at 30 fps
so it wouldn''t do that . If it's really Telecine , the camera
is capturing at 24 fps. -
Performing a decent IVTC is not really all that difficult, either.
