Bush PDVD2000

In my local ALDI (lol) they are selling a portable bush pdvd2000 dvd player. (I got the model number from the box itself). Is there any record of this player anywhere cos i cant find anything, even google brought not 1 result! I need to know whether it would be any use for playing dvdr through my tv as my player wont work my created dvds but my mate's will n whether or not this player can be made multi-region.

Ive just got one of these im looking for a Hack myself to make this multi region and to enable VCD Playback but i can help you out with some of your questions

I sent my g/f to Aldi to pick one of these up for me to take on holiday with me ( I thought it was the Bush PDVD1000 ) then when i saw the box it said PDVD2000 (So i rushed onto the net to find the hack and i got no results *sobbing*

But i popped in a SVCD and it played fine
then tried a VCD and got a UNKNOWN DISK Error msg
Trying a DVD-R as i type .... Playing fine
Tried a region 1 disc ... got a Wrong Region error
I would recommend this player to anyone looking for a cheap portable player

If anyone knows of a hack for this player Please LMK ....TIA

step1: switch on unit
step2ress setup button
step3ress next >> button
step4ress previous << button
step5ress next >> button
step6ress previous << button
VER4 will show in right hand corner of screen ( australia region code)
step7: pressskip <> button leth or right to change region code from VER1 to VER6 or 255 for region code 0
step8ress setup button twice. DONE!

Cannot get this hack posted to work....has anyone else been successful?

Headstate - Unless i'm doing something wrong is this hack for the BUSH Portable DVD 2000 player?

If it is can you explain it in more depth....eg.next and skip...i can't get itto do anything?
