    How do I erase files on a dvd-rw?

    If you're using some sort of packet software - which I very much doubt if you're using -RW - you just right click on it and select delete (or press the delete key) like you would any other file.

    However, you might have to erase the whole disc and re-burn it with the original data less the file you wanted to delete.
