I am using a program called DVD backup for mac os. It rips the files to my hd and then i can burn them using toast etc... etc... now here is my question.
The dvd i want to backup is 5.1gb of files. The disc has 2 trailers on it, should I figure out what chapters the trailers are and delete the audio and video for those chapters now (meaning not rip those files) and see if it comes out to be less than 4.7gb or should I rip the whole thing and use another program to remove those 2 trailers (which might allow me to not have to compress any of the movie)
The movie also has commentary track, so i could remove that and also burn these files without re-encoding (compressing them)
Thanks
Lou
