a06 is only 20$ difference w/ rebate.. I can pick this up at bestbuy in 20minutes.. otherwise.. i have to wait to order etc.
Any reason why i would want 106d, i heard somethin about firmware...
ill check this again in 20 min cuz im leaving either way to pick one up

No difference.
The A06 will give you some software and instructions and such, which may or may not be worth $20 to you.
I ultimately chose the 106, because the A06 does not come in black! I got the 106 for $124 + $9 shipping at www.essencompu.com. Very fast order processing and delivery. Drive works so far.
