Hi I have a lot of Karaokevideos (1500) on my hard drive on vcd format (mpg),a lot of them has the right audio channel with music and vocal and the left channel are only music,Im trying to get the left channel (Only music)on both channels so i dont hear the vocal,and save the mpg file ,I have about 300 song that has this problem ,but the other 1200 song are in stereo with no vocal,Im looking for a way to fix this problem and hoplefully find a program that can do it in a batch mode , Has Anyone a any solution for this??

  2. You could do this in batch mode with SoundForge - it's not cheap though.

    You'd need to load all the files into the Batch Processing editor, then set it up to remix the audio to stereo with 100% left channel, and 0% right channel.

    The batch processor could then re-save the files - although it may not be able to re-encode the audio to mp2 and replace it in the mpeg files.

    You could get it to save all the files as wavs, and then use tooLame GUI to batch encode the audio to mp2 224kbps (as per VCD spec).

    I don't know of an app that could batch process re-muxing the audio with the video I'm afraid.

    I'm not sure what you could use to batch process the whole lot, and leave the files exactly as you want them.
