    I just got a brand new dvd surround system..
    It's a pioneer XV-DV515..
    And the problem is I can't play SVCD's
    or VCD's.. The first day I got it i could play svcds with no problem at all.
    But the day after that I got "Pbc play" on the display and it just won't play.. It seems to be just a simple problem but what should I do??

    I'll apriceate it if anyone can help...

    Have you tried the "enter" button? Sounds like you are playing a (s)vcd with a menu. PBC is Play Back Control, usally meaning there are menues on the disc not just play the movie.

    yes... but nothing happens.
    I could play these cd's a few days ago..
    It's so strange, I've heard that I have to turn off pbc but I cant do that..
    What menu? theres no button..
    your help is needed..
