Hi everyone, I'm brand new to dvd stuff, I have done vcd and svcd in the past. My question is for the speed, and quality what is the best ripper out that seems to be what most ppl favor which as help on dvdrhelp.com to cover how to use it, I think I need a encoder or shrinker to inless its in a ripper? Thanks guys and hope I can get this underway pretty soon. Also real fast is it possible to copy a dvd9 to dvd5 they have a proggy called dvd gold or something that supposely will do this but im not sure.

  2. Hi there,
There is not really a best way, its all down to what you are comfortable using! As for speed, nothing is fast in doing Decoding/Encoding, as meaning that it all takes time whatever you use. I use DvDecrypter to rip most of the time then other progs to do rest. If you want a all-in-one answer try DvD Shrink! You can change all the file sizes of the Menu's and Video in that. But I prefer to use Scripting, more control
Keep going till you get it right!!!

  3. Rippers: DVDDecrypter or Smart Ripper

    Shrinker: DVDShrink(also has a ripper)
