    Are all of the DVDXCopy programs (Xpress, Gold, Platinum) transcoders?

    Was there a version of DVDXCopy Xpress that was NOT a transcoder, just a re-encoder? (I think maybe version 1.5.2)

    I am looking to backup a DVD-9 DVD to a DVD-5 DVD-/+R with just the movie and retain excellent quality.
