Panasonic DVD-F85 hacks

I have searched far and wide for multi-region/ macrovision hacks for the F85, and no one seems to have found any as of yet... Just wondering if i'm looking in the wrong places/ if anyone has got them.

I'm considering the F85, but can't seem to find any posts online regarding how it handles homemade DVD-R, DVD-RW, SVCD, etc......

Does SVCD's of all sorts just fine... i do not have a DVD burner but https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=2631&Search=Search&#comments says that they work just fine.

Took some of my DVD's to test out this player in the store (the comments in the player section vary from "everything" to "Not with Nero". Anyways, the SVCD works fine....

The movie-only disk I compressed with DVD-Shrink and burnt with Nero (on DVD Video settings) played fine.

But......one single layer disk had problems as it got to the very end of the movie.....kept having the occasional break-up / pixelation. Didn't totally stop, but was annoying. I'll have to try this disk again at home...think it worked fine up to the end. I know some readers have problems as they get to the outer rim of the DVD.
