New to DVD authoring

I havent had much experience with burning DVDs. I have around 22 mpegs around 15 minutes each. What I want to do is have a menu that will play them all and then submenus that will play them separately. I would also like to have motion for the buttons (small clips from the mpeg as the button), and background music if possible. What is the best program to do this and please tell me what tutorial is best.

Anywayzz, thats over 5 hours of video, are you sure you wanan do this? Wait, it is over 5 hours isnt it? My brain is fried, yea it is.. I think.

If you're new to DVD authoring then read the guides on here. There are a lot of helpful articles and how-to guides. You also might want to check out www.MakeMeKing.com/howtodvd.html because that is the best guide I've found on the whole aspect of DVDs. How to rip (your own DVDs), convert, and burn. yuffy, consider sarcasm payment in full as long as some advice was rendered. Its a small price to pay and kinda breaks the monotony of seeing some of the same ?. And nobody attempted to say they were smarter than someone else. Heck, Im sure 90% of the peeps here know more than I do about this site, but I probably know more about shooting tomcats off the waste cat and bridles on the phantom. And if by some chance someone else knows more than that than me then I will counter with "I know more about my hairy mole on my nether region" and if by some strange act of cruel fate someone states that they know more about it than me, then he/she better have a wedding ring or a medical degree
