Hi
I wish to back up my DVD collection to my computers hard drive. (I bought an extra large one for this). I do not have a DVD Writer and though this was the easiest way.
Does anyone know an easy method of ripping the entire content of a DVD to a computers hard drive? (execpt copying and pasting the files)?
thanks
luke

Now, this is a basic question.
First of all, you can't copy and paste the files as the DVD is most likely to be encrypter with CSS encryption. Because of that, you need a program to decrypt it and the best solution to do what you want is to use DVDDrcrypter.
Ripping your DVDs one after another, will get you where you want. However, an "extra large" disk may not be enough, depending on how many DVDs you have. Each one may be in the range of 5 - 8 Gb. You may not be able to store more than 10 DVDs on a 100Gb HD this way.The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
