    I want to use this program to put tv shows captured in VCD to a DVDR. Is this a problem, or should it still work?

    Nope. I do it all the time, for I have used up all the VCDs that I want to transfer. Do make sure, however, that it is 'real' VCD material, that is MPEG-1, 352x288, 25fps (PAL). Constant Bit Rate 1150kbps with Mpeg-1 Layer 2 44100kHz audio at 224kbps.
