Might not be that exciting but I just picked up an I/O Magic IDVDRW4 + Internal Writer and I backed up "U2 - Elevation Live in Boston" with no problems using DVD Decrypter & CloneDVD, and it was my first ever rip/burn. I kept the menu and just burned the main movie and the quality is pretty much the same as the original as far as I can tell.
I'm so glad that I finally invested in a burner and I can now back up all my movies and not have to worry about the originals becoming damaged. I'd also just like to thank this site for all the help with VCD/SVCD and now DVD backups. Sorry for the stupid post...it's just nice to have actual DVD back-ups now and not just VCD's & SVCD's. Thanks again to DVDR Help and everyone involved...that includes just the visitors such as myself.
