    hi!

    when i convert avi files (dvd rips) to vcd the quality is relly shity!! there is pixles everywere. and im doing as the guide says...but when i do svcds the quality is great!! but my sis cant play svcd on her dvd player so i need to do vcds...so if anyone knows how to make the qulity better please let me know

    btw im using TMPGEnc-0.11.28.112 when i convert!

    hmm i dont think there is much you can do. Does the DVD player support XVCD, if it does try that.

    no it dosnt.. but when i dl dvdrips thats in vcd format the quality is good...but when i do it is sucks!

    DivX AVI's are usually terrible candidates for burning to VCD, since they are already so heavily compressed. It's just a fact of life.

    to make ur bad quality vcd(mines great quality)go to setting thhen go to video and change the motion search prescion to highest quality and that might help
