  1. I hope someone can help me. I backed up several DVDs and I can't get the to work correctly on a Sony DVP-S500D. I tried them on a Toshiba 1200 and they work fine, they also work on my PC. I tired using Nero and when that didn't work. I then tried ImgBurnTool ver. 1.00.9 and when that didn't work I tried ver. 0.90 and DVD Decrypter, but had no luck. The discs would either start off fine then get pixelated, then stop or I would get an error as soon a I put he disk in. I can't figure it out. I also tried both -R and +R. Any help would really be appreciated.

Sony's are real fussy sometimes and will always spit outt DVD's if the structure ain't right. Are the error's for a 'dirty disc'?

what methods and programs are you using to backup the DVD's?

are you 100% certain the media you are using plays in your Sony? Have you copied a DVD5 yet using a direct copy and seeing if that plays?

  3. Thanks for your perply, MackemX. I havent tried doing a direct copy yet.

The funny thing is I split Hulk between 2 DVD-Rs in DVDShrink3 and the first one wont play but the second one plays great. I used the same exact method for both.

Then I tried backing up 28 Days Later one 1 DVD-R and it starts, then I get a disk error. Then I tried Finding Nemo on a DVD-R it play for about 30 seconds, the image pixelated and I actually saw an image of the 28 Days Later backup I had in the player before.
