  1. Guys,

I've captured a 16 min clip from one of my VHS tapes (documentry)
via SONY TRV27 camcorder Analog passthru feature into Adobe Premiere.
Capture went fine but when I clik on the clip inside Premiere project
or import it into timeline it doesn't show up in full. (only a few frames
at the begining of the video show up). I click the Properties of the
captured clip while inside Premiere and it shows as only few seconds
    long.

I know the full video is there because the same AVI file can be
opened outside ofPremiere in Windows Media Player and it plays the full 16 mins. What is causing this problem ?? Could this be related to macrovision inside Premiere ???
How can I see th full clip in timeline ? Any suggestion is much appreciated.

You may have bad frames. Time to break out the ol' Virtual Dub.

I have the Sony TRV25 and wish to author DVD as easily as possible.
I have a firewire connection and I am hoping to pass divx thru from one computer, (analog video out) to my laptop iLink to a file that I can burn to DVD.
    Any suggestions?

  5. Thanks tommy !

It seems when I try capturing small segments it's working.
Now I'm trying to export the Premiere Timeline back into a miniDV
tape and it's seems to be only exporting the audio with a blank
screen. I've done this before with miniDV timelines w/o any issue so I'm
    puzzled.
