  1. I have an MPEG of Eddie Murphy Delerious that runs about an hour and is only about 280 MB, so it is probably encoded with MPEG 4. The audio is in sync when watching it on my PC, but when I burned it to VCD using Nero 6, the audio is way out oy synch, about 10-15 seconds behind the video. Any ideas on how to correct this?

Please take into account I am a total noob at this....I read some of the things people say to do, and I am basically lost. nothing fancy, just simple

    Quick Edit

I just realized, it is not in MPEG format, but in avi format

The problem is that you are encoding your video with Nero, I use Nero to burn CD's and DVD's sometimes but never let it encode your video. Try TMPGEnc.

    Here is a guide.https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc.htm

  3. Gracias...I will try it. I am also breaking up the Avi into smaller pieces and re-encoding it as an MPEG with Pinnacle Studio 8 and seein how that works...in fact it is burning now...I will keep you updated

  5. LOL...that's a lose me question. I didn't see an option for that in Nero. But splitting it up into 6 min segments and then re-encoding seemed to work....but you'll hear from me again...I have almost a Tarabyte of TV captured stuff to work on...all I need now is the time to sit down and edit all of it.

    Thanks again...

any othter hints, you can post here, or Email me at Hybrid2004@hotmail.com
