    hello, I download a Vob file but is in PAL I want to burn it in a dvdr but the system here is NTSC, it will play ?? or do I need to encode it to NTSC ?? if I need to encode can you give me a guide ??

    Sure it will play.....in your computer DVD player...
    However....NOW you will have a stand alone DVD player trying to deal with a DVD +/- R......AND a PAL one to boot.....OUCH....
    I hear converting is somewhat of a P.I.T.A. too....never tried it....but there are several convertion guides here.
