    I have recently updated my firmware to the latest release (0.43) and now my drive will not reconise any blank media inserted.No DVD-r,DVD+r,DVD+rw,CDR or even CDRW.My drive will not even reconise a pre-recorded dvd either.It seems all it is now is a standard cd-rom drive.Can someone please shed some light on this problem.The flash went ok and I used the firmware from manufactures website.Please help.

    thanks for the link.After reading the thread I think that the problem occurs after an erase on some faulty drives.I`ll have to return it to the shop and exchange it....but without a box and recipt it should be fun.Anyone been able to sort out this problem without replacement drive?
